Creativity has always been a constant in my life, sparked by my grandmother when she taught me to embroider tea towels at the age of eight. I grew up watching my mother bring countless innovative projects to life, further fueling my artistic curiosity. Over the years, I explored various forms of creative expression, including quilling, calligraphy, macramé, crochet, mosaics, and ceramics, all while working and raising three daughters.

Yet, it wasn’t until after retirement that I truly discovered my artistic passion. One day, I stumbled upon my daughter’s college paint supplies and asked her for a lesson. I was instantly captivated by the colors, textures, and the freedom they offered. That serendipitous moment transformed into a profound creative journey, and two decades later, painting en plein air has become my true calling. Through my work, I aim to capture the fleeting beauty of nature and inspire others to see and appreciate the world around them.

Today, I am grateful to be part of vibrant art communities in both Massachusetts, New York, and Florida, where I have had the honor of memberships in numerous art organizations, solo exhibitions, and awards. What began as a curious spark has grown into a career surpassing my wildest dreams.

My artistic journey is a heartfelt tribute to the legacy of creativity passed down through the generations. Now, I proudly carry that tradition forward, sharing my love of creating art with my children and grandchildren. Through my art, I hope to inspire others to see the world with fresh eyes and discover the beauty in every moment.
